Our Story
Everyone remembers “the ride”... that bicycle ride, or rides, of epic quality shared with other cyclists young and old. Whether it was a mountain bike trip with lots of spills and thrills, a long distance road tour that stretched you to your limits, your first ever triathlon, or that memorable family cycling jaunt through the park. You will always remember, always talk about, always long for, always enjoy the ride.
“The Ride” was founded and begun in March of 2004 not only to fill the desperate need for friendly, high quality sales and service of bicycle products, but even more importantly to rally cyclists around one sole purpose: to enjoy “the ride” and introduce others to the wonderful sport of cycling. All recreational peddlers whether roadie, triathlete, tour junkie, techno weenie, pedal head, mountain biker, cruiser, or weekend warrior can come together and share the sport they love with others. That’s what it’s all about. So come on into The Ride, sign up to join us for a group ride or tour, come out and do your first race with us (or your 100th), see what the weather is doing today, see what others are riding, buy some gear, have some fun, enjoy the sport you love, and share it with others.
